Screaming Females Poster Process

Posters are all done for the Screaming Females at SPACE Gallery show. These are a collaboration with Marissa Paternoster of the Screaming Females. Posters are a 4 color screen print with pink and blue editions. These were so much fun to design and print!

Pink edition is a large 106. Blue is 19. Poster measures 18in.-24in. printed on 100lb. Madero Beach Speckletone Paper but The French Paper Company. Also the first 30 posters in the pink edition have the show information for the Space Gallery show while the rest only have Screaming Females text. A limited number of these will be for sale with the Screaming Females on tour after the Space show in Portland and available on my ETSY Store here.

I had a lot of fun with the pink layer on this poster. Some I printed blue instead of pink while some pink posters have split fountain with some lighter pink/gray.

Screaming Females Poster collaboration with Marissa Paternoster

Here’s my new poster for Screaming Females, The Underground Railroad to Candyland & Mount Washington at SPACE Gallery on October 11th. This poster is a collaboration with Marissa Paternoster of the Screaming Females. I emailed her a little while back about a possible collaboration between myself and the band for this poster since I’m always really excited when their band comes to town. Marissa is also a very awesome artist on her own so I thought this would be perfect! She was into the idea and here’s what came out of it! I took some of her drawings she had sent me and messed with them a bunch and added in my own drawings based off her drawing style to try and create one awesome poster! I think I succeeded. This design will be screen printed in a very limited run for the show and will also be made without any Space Gallery text to be strictly a Screaming Females Poster. They will be 18in.-24in. and the edition size is still up in the air.

And some process shots of the drawing of this print. This poster was first made by drawing one basic drawing, the black outline. Then coloring it in and adding textures.

Huak – Yorba Linda Album Artwork

Here’s my new album artwork for the Portland, ME. band Huak. The album is getting released digitally this Friday at their Bandcamp page and eventually getting a limited Press on vinyl where I will be screen printing all the covers! I don’t believe cd’s are being made of this at all which if you ask me is pretty cool. I’m done with cd’s forever. The album is being put out by Ron Harrity’s PeaPod Recordings.
