Beirut and Lady Lamb the Beekeeper Poster Process

Here’s the finished product of my Beirut and Lady Lamb the Beekeeper poster for the State Theatre. Which happens this Friday the 29th in Portland, ME. These will be for sale at the show for the first time and will be available online on my ETSY Site after if there are any left. I’m really happy with how this poster turned out, I love the printed version even more then the digital poster. I ended up with an edition of 100 printed on Charcoal Brown French Paper. 5 color screen print. 20in-26in. Signed and numbered. The sky grey color also glows in the dark! All the text and image is hand drawn. There is also an art print version of this poster available NOW! This version has no text on it. Pick that up here.

Can you guess what HBO tv show this poster is heavily based off of? Some imagery also appears in older posters of mine and in my jewelry and accessories line collaboration with artist Hannah Tarkinson of Ponomo, called Beaux & Arrow.

Beirut and Lady Lamb The Beekeeper at The State Theatre Poster

Here it is, my new poster for Beirut & lady Lamb the Beekeeper at the State Theatre. I’ve been working on this one for a little while now, pretty much since the show was booked. This allowed me to spend a lot of time drawing this out and working with the layers a great deal. I’m really happy with the result of this poster and can’t wait to screen print it in the coming weeks.

The print will be 20in.-26in. on Charcoal Brown French Paper. Edition is still undetermined and will include an art print of A smaller edition without text on the bottom.

Lady Lamb Progress

Thanks to everyone who has picked up a My Morning Jacket poster or Josh Ritter one so far! It really means a lot when someone buys your work, hope everyone enjoys them as much as I do!

Lady lamb The Beekeeper Double Poster!!!

Above are the newly finished Lady Lamb The Beekeeper DOUBLE POSTERS!!! These are for her going away show at SPACE Gallery on October 29th, with Jacob Augustine, Pearl & The Beard & Panda Bandits. They are meant be go side by side, but are also separate posters. These will be a 4 color screen print and will be done shortly.

All the drawings in the posters were done by myself and Aly Spaltro, Lady Lamb herself. I just realized she has a brand new website also, you should really go check that out!

Keep an eye our for some new Lady Lamb t-shirts in the very near future also!

Tapes Print

Just finished up an edition of 50 Tapes Prints, This is the same print as the ted Leo posters I did a few months ago except with no show information. So you dont have to be a huge Ted Leo or Screaming Females fan to pick this one up!

I also started drawing on the first 20 prints in the edition on one of the tapes with some of my favorite local(ish) bands! I may even do more after I post this!

These will be available at Picnic which is next Saturday the 28th in Portland, Maine. And will shortly be available at my ETSY store.

Eternal Otter Poster & Building Of Song Festival

I recently made a tshirt which turned into a poster design for Eternal Otter Records and The Building of Song Festival.

I highly support this label and the people around it, they really support all good things around town and beyond! Above is a picture of Will from Eternal Otter holding one of my multi-colored posters on the peak of Katahdin. Pretty Cool! You might also see these around town!

The Building of Song Festival is on July 3rd at Congress Square in Portland, Maine. Please read about this festival and help support the music artists playing, which I might add are some of the best around! View all of that information HERE.

Record Covers for Eternal Otter Record’s Split of TJ Metcalfe & Aly Spaltro

About a month or two ago I got the chance to design record covers for two of Portland’s finest musicians TJ Metcalfe and Aly Spaltro. Here is the result of that!
